EINDHOVEN/BUNNIK - The VAOP, a cooperation which coordinates the gathering and recycling of particular waste for several town halls in Holland, has put an attachment on the bank accounts of the charitative organisation Humana.

VAOP claims 94.000 euro from Humana.      Spokesman P. Evenhuis from VAOP confirms that there has been put an attachment on the bank accounts of Humana.      Lawyer V. Appelman doesn't confirm or deny the attachment.      'We have a business-like difference of opinion', is all he wants to say.

According to Evenhuis Humana also has to pay 94.000 euro over the last year, 2001.    According to VAOP-lawyer H. Giezen all the other big charities which gather clothes for VAOP already  paid their cheque over the year 2001.    Also over the year 1999 their were problems between Humana and VAOP, which could only be solved by intervention of lawyers.

A contract from 1997 for five years between the charities and VAOP ends in May this year.   The charities don't want to continue the contract because of a difference of opinion about the sharing of costs.

In Eindhoven the Socialist Party (SP) wants to end the relationship between Eindhoven and Humana. According to the SP the clothing-bins have to be removed out of Eindhoven as soon as possible. The SP has serious doubts about the charitative character of Humana after reading an article in Eindhovens Dagblad about Humana.

According to the alderman of environment A. Scherf Humana has a contract in Eindhoven for a indefinite period, which can only be ended if Humana doesn't collect the clothes in a proper way.
