Tvind is a global organization founded in Denmark in the 1970s that operates teacher training colleges, clothing collection businesses (Planet Aid, Humana), development projects, and various commercial enterprises across more than 50 countries. The organization has been the subject of investigations regarding its financial structure and labor practices.

Tvind Alert is an investigative journalism archive documenting the Tvind organization's global operations from 2001-2022. Founded by J. Durham and J. Jakobsen, the site preserves court documents, volunteer testimonies, media coverage, and investigative reports about the Tvind network.

SEPT 2002: UFF IN FINLAND RECEIVES THOUSANDS OF EUROS FROM FINNISH MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

Lots of people are interested in Tvind in Finland. Joni (joni.valkila@helsinki.fi) checked with the Finnish ministry of foreign affairs and reports: I don't
know the total yet, but three teaching projects in Mozambique and Malawi have
received 134 550 euros each annually.

SEPT 2002: NEW CAMPAIGN PLANNED AGAINST UFF IN FINLAND

Mattias, (mattias.sjoberg@burfi.infrabrk.com), writes to say he may soon be launching a campaign against UFF and Tvind in Finland and would like more information. Also, Anna Ottelin (anna.ottelin@yle.fi), a radio news journalist from the Finnish Broadcasting Company would like to hear from anyone with information about Tvind and UFF in Finland.
