BRITISH SERIOUS FRAUD OFFICE HELPS DANISH POLICE
Sept
7th: The British Serious Fraud Office is assisting Danish prosecutors in
the case against Amdi Petersen and seven other Tvind leaders. The SFO
confirms the position but says only that it is "assisting the Danish authorities
in their enquiries".
The cooperation is believed to follow a visit to London by Danish police, who reportedly took away up to 10 boxes of papers from the office of a leading UK firm of financial consultants. The documents relate to a Teachers Group company based in the UK.
The identity of the companies is known to Tvind Alert. Watch out for further details.

Tvind
colleges appear also to have tacitly supported Bin Laden and Saddam Hussain
prior to 9/11. A recent British visitor to DRH Holsted recalls seeing a
hardback Tvind learning manual that included an article by Bin Laden. There was
also a copy of "A History of the Iraqi Baathist Party" and a collection of
speeches by Saddam Hussein in the Holsted library.
CAMPAIGN STARTS TO 'OUT' BJORNLUND IN AUSTRALIA
Sept
3rd:
Henning Bjornlund, the former Tvind 'chief accountant' who is now an
academic in Australia, is the subject of a new letter-writing campaign to 'out'
him as a former Tvind leader..
Bjornlund was reputedly in charge of Tvind finances when Tvind began investing public money in plantations abroad in the 1980s. A Tvind Alert reader has called on concerned people to write to the University of South Australia's vice chancellor, Denise Bradley, drawing attention to Bjornlund's interesting secret past.
Bjornlund reportedly admitted to a newspaper reporter in 1995 that it was 'all about profit'. But few people in Australia know of his former life - it is not mentioned on his CV.

GAIA, CHICAGO, FEELS THE HEAT AS COMPLAINT IS MADE
Sept
7th:
Gaia-Movement Trust,
with 300 'charity' clothes drop-in boxes in Chicago, is the subject of a
complaint to the Chicago Community Loan Fund.
Gaia receives a loan for its warehouse from the Fund and the loan has been extended to 2002-3. A number of concerned Americans have now contacted the CCLF to point out Gaia's association with Tvind. They include a Chicago expert on the charity clothes trade.
Gaia, which claims to be collecting 'for the environment' is clearly part of Tvind - an organisation that is cynically clear-felling the Brazilian rainforest for commercial gain.
