TVIND ALERT SPAIN OPENS
A new web site critical of Tvind, Tvindalerta, has opened in Spanish. The address is www.tvindalerta.da.ru. (This web site is independent of Tvind Alert.) Anyone with information in Spanish, or with any information about Tvind in Spain, please contact the webmaster at tvindalerta@yahoo.es. At the same time OSI (Oficina de Socorro Internacional), a small development NGO in Spain, has appealed for help in its campaign against Humana in Leon, Castile. Despite articles in the local press and appeals by the NGO, the municipality of Leon continues to contract Humana for clothes recycling.

McCORRY AND CO - TVIND IS TRADING TIMBER AND FRUIT ROUND THE WORLD
5th April: We have been notified of a major Tvind trading company, McCorry and Co, with a presence in Malaysia, Brazil, Belize, USA and Europe. In Malaysia, it is run by the leading Teachers Group member Jonas Israel. This company appears to be trading in timber, but also in fruit (especially bananas) in a very big way from Tvind plantations in South America.
We believe it is likely to be a
Teachers Group intermediary company buying timber from Tvind's Floryl plantation
in Brazil and bananas from remaining plantations in Ecuador (and probably others)
for onward world trade, perhaps to avoid tax liabilities - in classic Tvind style. We
invite more information. more

HUMANA BELGIUM GOING BANKRUPT?
3rd April: According to an official document, Humana Belgium vzw/asbl, now has net arrears of almost 180.000 at the National Office of Social Security (RSZ/ONSS), and a total debt to RSZ/ONSS, accumulated since 1999, of more than 1 million.
Also according to confidential (official) information, no arrears have been paid since January of this year, putting at risk the credit plan that Humana arranged with the RSZ/ONSS. The anticipated scenario of judicial liquidation of Humana Belgium vzw/asbl, leaving important debts, seems very close now.

3rd April: According to an official document, Humana Belgium vzw/asbl, now has net arrears of almost 180.000 at the National Office of Social Security (RSZ/ONSS), and a total debt to RSZ/ONSS, accumulated since 1999, of more than 1 million.
Also according to confidential (official) information, no arrears have been paid since January of this year, putting at risk the credit plan that Humana arranged with the RSZ/ONSS. Also according to confidential (official) information, no arrears have been paid since January of this year, putting at risk the credit plan that Humana arranged with the RSZ/ONSS. The anticipated scenario of judicial liquidation of Humana Belgium vzw/asbl, leaving important debts, seems very close now.
