AMDI PETERSEN RELEASED FROM PRISON

The court in Denmark has ordered the release of Amdi Petersen, the leader of Tvind     -    he left the jail this morning.      Tvind Teachers Group members Kirsten Larsen, Malene Gunst and Ruth Sejere Olsen came in a silvergrey luxury Mercedes and picked him up.

Petersen remains on bail charged with fraud and breach of trust relating to the Humanitarian Fund.    The court case resumes on February 19th.

The Danish court admits there a real danger that Petersen will flee abroad.     But - they argue - they cannot justify holding him in prison longer in view of the likelihood of a prison sentence later.
